Oroazzurro is the retail brand of Calabraittica, a family-owned anchovy processor founded after WWII in Anoia, near Reggio Calabria, Italy. Brothers Felice and Domenico Alvaro created the Oroazzurro name in 1990 to highlight blue fish caught along the Calabrian coast, using artisanal purse-seine and lampara fishing methods certified by Friend of the Sea.
