Tin2Table is the Wheeling, Illinois company that holds exclusive United States distribution for Miss Can of Lisbon and runs the brand's American storefront. Miss Can descends from two canneries opened in 1911 by Alberto Soares Ribeiro, closed after the 1974 revolution and revived four decades later by his great-grandson Tiago, who canned in small batches and sold them from a motorcycle in the streets below the Castelo de São Jorge. The name follows the Portuguese habit of putting women's names on tins, an acknowledgment of who staffed the canning industry.
