Old Fisherman

A classic Taiwanese tinned eel brand produced by Tong Yeng in Taiwan, found in Asian grocery stores across North America and brought to wider Western tinned fish audiences by specialty retailers including RTG. Old Fisherman roasts conger eel with a BBQ-spiced sauce drawing on soy, five-spice aromatics, and capsicum. Available in original, black pepper, chili, and fermented black bean varieties. Won a Gold Medal at the National Food Tasting Association.
