Graal

Founded in 1989 by Bogusław Kowalski in Wejherowo, Pomerania, Graal grew from a small fish stall into Poland's largest canned fish producer. The company built one of the most advanced canning facilities in Europe at Kartoszyno and expanded to four plants employing over 2,500 people, exporting to 38 countries. In a deal announced in February 2023 and closed in November 2024, Graal's canning operations were acquired by Lisner Holding, a subsidiary of the German Müller Group (UTM), making the combined entity the dominant force in Polish canned and chilled fish.
