Conservera Castreña

A family cannery founded in August 1986 in the Sámano Valley outside Castro Urdiales, Cantabria. Anchovies arrive directly from Cantabrian Sea fishermen who use traditional encircling nets; Bonito del Norte is sourced from vessels using individual pole-and-line. Two species, one valley, one principle: the raw material sets the ceiling on what the tin can be.
