Shimizu-based tuna cannery producing under the KGS brand, located in Shimizu ward of Shizuoka City, Japan's tuna canning capital responsible for 97% of national canned tuna production. Manufactures for major food brands as an OEM producer and sells direct to consumers under the KGS label. Flagship product is the KGS まぐろ中とろ, a hand-packed medium fatty yellowfin tuna in vegetable soup and olive oil with kelp and shiitake extract, made one can at a time from a rare cut that yields limited quantities per fish. Also produces white albacore and light tuna flake lines.
