Henry & Lisa's

A sustainable seafood brand founded in 1999 by Henry and Lisa Lovejoy as EcoFish Inc., which pioneered the sustainable seafood category in the United States and became the first Marine Stewardship Council certified seafood company in the country in 2001. The brand sources wild sardines caught off the European West Coast in late summer, prepared using the traditional Portuguese method of steam cooking and hand packing in a local cannery. Products are available in spring water and extra virgin olive oil and are sold in approximately 5,000 grocery stores nationwide. All sourcing decisions are vetted by an independent Seafood Advisory Board comprising leading marine conservation scientists.
