Zlatibor

A mountain region of southwestern Serbia centered on the Zlatibor highlands and its glacial lakes, including Lake Zaovine. Far from the sea, its cold, clean freshwater supports trout aquaculture, the basis for Serbia's small but distinctive canned-trout tradition.
