Thessaly

A region of central Greece on the Aegean, with the port city of Volos as its maritime hub. Volos has a working fishing fleet and a tradition of preserving the Pagasetic Gulf catch. Karagounis Bros, producing the Hellas Meze line, has canned fish here since 1950.
