Beira Interior

An inland region of eastern Portugal around Castelo Branco, away from the Atlantic canning coast. Its conserva tradition is built on river fish rather than sea fish. Conserveira do Interior cans freshwater species such as shad and zander here for the Bem Amanhado line.
