Papa Anzóis

A brand of Conserveira do Arade, the only artisanal cannery in the western Algarve, based in Parchal on the banks of the Arade river. The name translates loosely as the bait man, a figure from the fishing world. Like its sister brand Saboreal, it draws on the Algarve's distinct fishing and culinary traditions rather than the northern conserva canon.
