Hevva!

Artisan tinned fish brand based in Bude, North Cornwall, named after the cry of the Cornish huers, clifftop lookouts who shouted Hevva! to signal a pilchard shoal below. Sardines are bought at the Newlyn sunrise fish auction and dry-cured in salt and brown sugar before canning. All fish is rated 1 to 4 on the Marine Conservation Society Good Fish Guide.
