Originally a brand of the P. Martins distribution house in Lisbon, created alongside Açôr in the 1930s. After the distributor closed, Naval was revived by José Nero in Matosinhos as part of his effort to bring back forgotten labels from the Nero family's long history in the Portuguese conserva industry. Currently focused on cod preparations.
