Mount's Bay

Mount's Bay is the tinned sardine line of Rockfish, the Devon seafood group Mitch Tonks built from a single Brixham fishmonger's shop he opened in 1996. Launched in 2021, the line takes sardines landed at Brixham Fish Market, just off Mount's Bay, and ships them to Asturias in northern Spain to be hand-packed by artisan canners, pairing British-landed fish with Spanish tinning craft Tonks admired. The range also runs to a chilli and an escabeche variant, each tin wrapped in bold packaging designed by Tonks's wife, Penny.
