Instant noodles or a nest of long pasta and a tin make a fuller bowl for almost nothing. Cook them, drain most of the water, and toss the fish and its oil through so the packing liquid stands in for half the seasoning packet, or the whole sauce on spaghetti. The oil-packed and spiced tins shine, a piri-piri or a smoked oil flavoring the bowl, and sardines or mackerel twirl through long pasta with garlic and chili. Some 226 tins turn a packet of noodles into a real bowl. One pot is the only cooking, snack to a meal.
