Originally a brand of the P. Martins distribution house in Lisbon, created in the 1930s alongside the Naval label. The distributor closed, the brand disappeared, and decades later it was revived by Bernardo Nero under Luso Conservas. One of several Portuguese conserva labels that connect the current gourmet moment back to the industrial heyday of the 1930s and 40s. The tins were historically packed by Nero & Ca in Olhao, Algarve, before the LusoConservas relaunch.
