Briosa Gourmet

António Faustino founded Briosa in Figueira da Foz in 1991, near the fishing port, as the vehicle for gourmet and organic lines alongside his older cannery, Conservas Portugal Norte. Briosa owns two marques: Briosa Gourmet, with Portuguese-tile-inspired packaging, and Dama, a quieter organic line. In 2025 Briosa and Conservas Portugal Norte joined the same corporate group, per Briosa's own current company history.
