Stabburet

Founded in 1891 in Hamar, Stabburet is Norway's best-known food brand, named after the traditional Norwegian raised storehouse (stabburet) used to preserve food through winter. Its mackerel in tomato sauce, known in Norwegian as makrell i tomat, is an icon of Norwegian everyday eating. Now owned by Orkla.
