Gut & Günstig is EDEKA's entry-price private label, a range of roughly 3,000 food and non-food products positioned against Rewe's "ja!" line. Its tinned fish holds down the everyday end of the German shelf: herring fillets in tomato and cream sauces, rollmops and other North Sea standards, produced for EDEKA by established manufacturers.
