AllTinned + MrTinned
Advertise your tins
Two things can be bought. Neither of them is our opinion.
AllTinned catalogues tinned fish: what each tin is, who makes it, and who stocks it. If you make tins or sell them, you can pay to appear in the sponsored slot on the pages where your tins are relevant.
MrTinned reports on the market: what a tin costs, how the price has moved, and whether it is worth paying. Two emails a week go to subscribers, and you can sponsor both.
Both sites are new and the audience is small. That is reflected in the price, and we will send you real figures before you spend anything.
Two things
What you can buy
One tin sits at the top of or within every list of tins. Pay the monthly fee and yours goes into that slot on the pages where it belongs, labelled Sponsored, sharing the slot with any other advertisers whose tins also fit.
What that means in practice
- 01You do not pick pages. We match your tins to the pages that are about them.
- 02A sardine tin appears on sardine pages, not on the mackerel ones.
- 03You are buying a share of the slot, not sole possession of it.
- 04Brand or shop, same fee. Plenty are both.
Two emails go out each week. The Digest on Wednesday is automated and personal: price moves, stock changes and new listings for the tins each reader follows. The Report on Saturday is written. One sponsorship covers both, marked Sponsored, roughly forty words and one link in your own words.

The card as a reader sees it
In writing, so you can hold us to it
What money cannot buy
- 01Position or ranking in the catalogue
- 02A verdict or a score on MrTinned
- 03A mention in a guide, or The Tin of the week
- 04Being listed in the first place
- 05A faster correction than anyone else gets
- 06The order of search results
- 07The removal of a competitor
The sponsored slots are the things being sold.
One tin sits at the top of or within every list of tins. Everything below it is ordered by the catalogue, and every affiliate placement says if it is.
Four, and no unmarked fifth
Every label on the site
The Tin
Chosen by us and named in an issue of the Report. Nobody can buy this one.
Affiliate · retailer
A shop we earn a commission from when we refer a purchase.
Sponsored · advertiser
Paid for preferred placement with the advertiser named on the mark.

What you get, as it appears
Sponsored · NuriSardines in Olive Oil with LemonRail slot
Top of the rail on a brand, species, region or shop page.

Affiliate
AffiliateThree-up plate
Across the measure on an index or a species page.
Sponsored · NuriSardines in Olive Oil with LemonImage-led slot
A guide article, and the shop page rail.
Sardines in Olive Oil with LemonSponsoredIn-list row
Within a list of tins, in the same row shape as the list.
Every placement carries its mark and the name of the advertiser or shop it is from, shows a price in the shop's own currency. Pro readers see none of them.
Founder partners
The first advertisers to pay for a year up front will get a sweet deal. Their placements will read Founder partner, permanently on the site.
This is not a bargain built on reach. It is a bargain built on being early.

Your page, and the Brand Report
Your page, free
Every producer has an AllTinned entry: history, region, range, and where to buy. Claim yours, correct it, link it. Free, always, no catch. Entries are never for sale. Clearly labeled placements help fund the free resource; coverage cannot be bought.
The Brand Report
A monthly briefing on your brand as the market actually sees it: distribution (stockists gained and lost, named), pricing (your spread across retailers and currencies, and what changed), availability (out-of-stocks we detected, where, and for how long), and category (what moved in the species while you were busy canning).
The report is currently in pilot with a small group of producers.
