Lorea Gourmet is the online shop of Lorea, a Basque cannery in Mutriku that the Yurrita family has run since 1867, which makes it one of the oldest food houses still working in Spain.Unlike most sellers, it packs what it sells: Cantabrian anchovies hand-filleted from the spring coast are the flagship, alongside bonito del norte from the Bay of Biscay.Lorea was the first company to earn MSC certification for anchovy, and runs a sustainably sourced Green Selection line.
