Kodiak Island Smokehouse

Founded in 1984 in Kodiak, Alaska, and run by its current family owners since 2016, Kodiak Island Smokehouse smokes wild seafood in small batches alongside a fish and game processing operation where every order is handled separately. Its sockeye is hot-smoked in-house with a simple garlic brine, and the canned smoked salmon ships shelf-stable nationwide. The HACCP-certified operation moved into a larger facility in 2018 as its retail line grew.
