South Korea
Penguin
Penguin began in 1966 as Daehan General Foods, a South Korean state enterprise built to can K-rations for troops in Vietnam, and took the Penguin name in 1988. The brand outlived its own 2008 bankruptcy: a seafood firm bought the name in 2012 and relaunched it as Penguin F&B, and Namil General Foods Industry Co. has produced and sold Penguin-branded canned saury, mackerel and other goods under it since around 2017.

The Digest tells you the week a Penguin tin moves.
This is every shop from our records that has carried a Penguin listing, not just the ones stocking it today. A tin sits under a house when the label states it.
