Luças

A family-run Matosinhos producer since 1896, making Luças one of the oldest continuously operating conserva brands in Portugal. The company describes itself as the oldest and most refined Portuguese canned fish brand. Production began formally in 1940 at the Matosinhos fishing port, drawing on the same Atlantic sardine and mackerel stocks that define the city's identity.
