Italy Bite was founded in 2018 by four friends from the Casentino valley of Tuscany who saw that no one would ship Italian food, even the perishable kind, worldwide for a single flat fee.
Working from Bibbiena and buying and tasting every product themselves rather than drop-shipping, they lean on PDO and Slow Food makers, and their fish shelf is Sicilian, led by Campisi of Marzamemi.
