Los Peperetes

Twelve workers in a small Galician cannery, one of the smallest in the region, producing entirely by hand using century-old machinery and family recipes passed down through generations. Their razor clams, harvested by divers in five-hour underwater shifts off the coast of Finisterre, were ranked the best in the world. David Beckham posted them on Instagram in 2023. The cannery operates as Jelopa S.L., based in Vilagarcia de Arousa, Pontevedra.
