Pan y Cebolla
Pan y Cebolla works with more than fifteen artisan dairies across Asturias and keeps over fifty Asturian farmhouse cheeses on the counter, which is the reason most people find the shop on Calle Ámsterdam in Oviedo.
The buying is done direct from producers with no wholesaler in between, and everything on the roughly five hundred references is tasted before it is listed. Beyond the cheese there are Asturian cured meats, DOP Cangas wines, orujo and herb liqueurs, and shellfish preserves. The shop runs tastings and workshops in the room, and ships across Spain.
