Ramón Franco

Ramon Franco came to canning from the water: the family farmed mussels before it began putting up conservas in 1961, at Pobra do Caraminal on the Ria de Arousa. Now in its third generation, the house hand-packs sardinillas to a recipe set in 1960 and lets the tins mature before sale.
