Cut

Chunk

Chunk is the everyday cut, solid pieces broken from the loin, the same fish at a lower price.

About 190 chunk tins, mostly tuna. Made for cooking rather than plating: folded through pasta or beans, flaked into a salad, piled into a sandwich. Good value and versatile, the chunk is the cut you cook with.

Twenty tins to a page. A row with no price is a tin we hold but nobody we track is selling today.

Cut is read from the label and from the ingredient list. Where a label states neither, the tin carries no cut rather than a guessed one.
